  • His musical career really started in 1975 when he did many appearances on the local television as a sideman for many local Canadian artists. Then participated in a classical baroque trio called Bouquet de sons In the 80s he did his first album with a group called Agharta which was featured in the first Festival International de Jazz de Mon-trl. It was a jazzusion band very much influenced by Weather Report. Agharta toured in many jazz venues in Quebec.
    After Agharta he formed a group called Jouga with percussionist Michel Suin (Van Morisson, Don Alias). In the 90s as a musical director, he created a world-beat group called Anoosh which featured Armenian singer/percussionist Raffi Niziblian. The group toured in Europe and played in the prestigious Womad world of music and dance festival founded by Peter Gabriel and Thomas Brooman. Anoosh produced an album in 1992 and received a Juno Awards (Canadian Grammy!) nomination as best world-beat album.
    Pierre then participated as a freelance musician in many blues and R&B cover bands and finally teamed up with Jean-Franis Fabiano (Gato Barbieri, Jean-Luc Ponty) to form the World Unit composed of many of the finest world-beat and jazz mucians in Montrl, this group made an apparition on ARTV tv show called New World Symphony In 2007 Pierre produced and realized Storias a really modern acid-jazz oriented album. With the group Storias he played in many venues in Montrl. Since 2008 Pierres has been mostly working as an arranger/composer for various artists: Choirs, singers, theater , dance companies and instrumentalists combining a fresh approach to arranging and a mastering of music software.
    Now established in Hong Kong where he really wants to participate artistically to the effervescence going on in this wonderful city by playing and creating new projects with local musicians. He would also love to bring his vast experience to the profit of Hong Kong young musicians.
